This guide walks you through the full process of ordering flowers online in Malaysia - specifically through Laurels and Leafz - so you know exactly what to expect from start to delivery.

Step 1: Choose Your Bouquet

Browse the collection at lnl.florist and filter by occasion, recipient, or budget. Here are a few quick pointers to narrow down your choice:

  • Not sure what to pick? A mixed bouquet with roses and baby breath is our most popular choice and suits almost every occasion and recipient.
  • Want something longer-lasting? Choose a soap flower or preserved flower arrangement - they look the same as fresh but last for months.
  • Have a specific budget? Use the price filter on the collection page to see options within your range. Our bouquets start from RM89.
  • Buying for a male recipient? Sunflower bouquets or bold mixed arrangements with orange and yellow tones are popular choices.

Every product page shows the arrangement you will receive. Our product photos are taken of actual arrangements made by our florists - not stock images or computer renders.

Step 2: Select Your Location

We have two delivery areas: KL and Selangor (from our Petaling Jaya workshop) and Johor Bahru and Seremban (from our Johor Bahru team).

When you browse collections, make sure you are on the right city page:

Product variants are tagged by delivery location so the price you see reflects the correct arrangement for your area.

Step 3: Choose Your Delivery Date and Time

On the product page, select your delivery date from the calendar. Key things to know:

  • Same-day delivery is available if you order before 4 PM. Orders placed after 4 PM default to next-day delivery.
  • Scheduled delivery is available up to 30 days in advance. For birthdays, anniversaries, and important occasions, advance ordering guarantees your slot and gives us time to source specific blooms.
  • Preferred time window - you can add a preferred delivery time window in the order notes (for example, morning delivery or after 6 PM). We will do our best to accommodate but cannot always guarantee specific time slots for same-day orders.

Step 4: Enter the Delivery Address

Fill in the recipient's full address including:

  • Unit number and block name (for condominiums and apartments)
  • Street name and number
  • Area or township name
  • Postcode
  • State

For office deliveries, include the company name, floor number, and a contact person at the reception. For hospital deliveries, include the ward name or patient contact number. The more detail you provide, the smoother the delivery.

If you are sending flowers as a surprise and do not want the recipient to know the sender in advance, add a note saying so and we will coordinate carefully.

Step 5: Add Your Personalised Message

Every Laurels and Leafz order includes a free personalised card. Type your message in the card message field at checkout. We print it on a card and attach it to the bouquet.

Tips for writing your card message:

  • Keep it to 2 to 4 lines - a short, sincere message reads better than a long one on a small card
  • If you want to remain anonymous, leave the sender name off the card
  • For condolence flowers, a brief respectful message is more appropriate than a lengthy one
  • Emoji are supported in card messages

Step 6: Choose Your Add-Ons

Before checkout you can add optional extras to your order:

  • Cakes - red velvet, chocolate, and seasonal flavours available
  • Fruit boxes - fresh premium fruit gift boxes
  • Balloons - helium balloons for birthday and celebration orders
  • Soft toys - available for some arrangements

Add-ons are prepared and delivered together with the bouquet as one complete gift set.

Step 7: Pay Securely

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
  • Online banking (FPX)
  • E-wallets (Touch and Go, GrabPay, Boost, and others)
  • Buy Now Pay Later options

All payments are processed through a secure encrypted checkout. We do not store card details.

Step 8: Receive Confirmation and Track Your Order

After completing your order you will receive:

  • An email order confirmation with your order details
  • A WhatsApp message from our team confirming your order and delivery schedule
  • A WhatsApp update when your order is out for delivery
  • A final confirmation once delivered

Frequently Asked Questions for First-Time Customers

Will my bouquet look exactly like the photo?

We aim to match the product photo as closely as possible. Seasonal flower availability occasionally means we substitute a similar bloom of the same colour and quality. We will notify you if a substitution is necessary.

What if nobody is home when the flowers arrive?

Our driver will call the recipient before arriving. If nobody answers, we will leave the flowers in a safe spot and send a photo confirmation to you. For surprise deliveries, we coordinate with you directly on how to handle this.

Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?

Changes and cancellations can be made up to 4 hours before the scheduled delivery time. WhatsApp us as soon as possible if you need to make a change.

What if I entered the wrong delivery address?

WhatsApp us immediately at +60103342088 with your order number and the correct address. If the driver has not left yet, we can update the address at no charge. If the driver is already en route, a redelivery fee may apply.
